I installed the new version of Pantone Color Calibrator version 188.8.131.52
The calibration went fine although frankly I couldn't see any difference between Before and after!
I rebooted the P70 and noticed that the calibration doesn't load.
I check the Event Viewer > Custom Views > Administrative Events
There was an Error:
Task Scheduler service found a misconfiguration in the NT TASK\Color Calibrator Tray definition. Additional Data: Error Value: C:/Program.
I checked the Task Scheduler and saw that Color Calibrator Tray is not running.
I tried to manually to run it from C:\Program Files (x86)/X-Rite/PANTONE Color Calibrator/ColorCalibratorTray.exe
Has anyone else has this problem?

The tray icon is missing, but I can run the calibration from the Start menu without any issue. The notification in the Event Viewer show a warning and not an error.
UPDATE: The installation package is missing the X-Rite Service Manager. That's why we are receiving the error message because the previous version wasn't updated. The package needs to be re-published.

I agree that something is wrong/different with the 1.3 setup.exe package. I am checking with the owner to see what happened.
Does it work OK if you start with 1.2 and then upgrade to 1.3?
1.2 is near the bottom of the above link

I am not able to reproduce any problem on my side. My screenshot is showing that I have installed Pantone 1.3 (not any X-Rite Services Manager) and the tray icon is alerting me to the fact that I need to calibrate. This is from my P70 running Win10.
The difference in 1.3 is that tray icon is not showing all the time. It only shows when you need to recalibrate according to your schedule.
If 1.2 works well for you, or if you prefer the way it works, there's no reason to update.

Any experience on using an X-Rite ColorMunki on a W540? Will the X-Rite Pantone drivers/software interfere with the X-Rite ColorMunki?
I would like to use the ColorMunki to calibrate the monitor and create a printer color profile. I use Lightroom, but QImage for printing. Right now the prints are nice for the average viewer, but not true to the screen.
FWIW, on my desktop, the colors and prints are ideal using an iOne.
