Run a script to update the bios

Hi,

Yesterday I manually update the bios on X260 ( 20F5S0FN00), X1 Yoga (20FRS11R00) and it updated fine. So today I tried manually on T470P (20J7S02T00) machine and it works. Then I proceed to run the script on three different machines that has the same models as above, I set the bios update in silent mode and nothing happened. I reran the script but this time I remove the silent switch  and manually  ran thru the bios update then I see the Flash error ( Flash Module cannot be found. The utility process has not completed.). I checked the location C:\Drivers\Flash\(Package name).

Re: Run a script to update the bios

What script are you running?

Are you saying that "winuptp.exe -s" doesn't work, but running "winuptp.exe" and manually interacting with the GUI does?

Are you using the Lenovo factory preload or your own custom Win10 image?
