I've been trying to apply the latest FW update to my TB3 Gen Workstation Dock without success. Program files are from here:
Each time that I run the FW update process and the application begins to update the FW, the system will Blue Screen with a DMA verify code and the system halts. There is nothing attached to the dock except the power bricks. The previous FW update of 3.1.53 worked properly. When the system restarts, Windows runs a disk check on the C:drive so it's a really hard stop. My P1 is running Windows 1903 and RAID 1.
Anyone else with this issue yet?

Restored the system this AM, re-downloaded the FW update file, and ran the exe again. This time, no BSOD, update completed sucessfully and the dock is now at 3.1.61.
BTW, I also changed the TB3 software and driver to the latest Intel DCH version prior to running the update. I'm not sure if this made a difference in the success.

Followed same steps on P52, 1809. Updated OK.
As OP suggested, unplug everything except laptop before update.
