Hello, I need to add a "Samsung 960 PRO Series - 1TB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD" on my Thinkpad. What is the P/N I need to install it? I think is the tray to insert the disc.
THINKPAD P51 SIGNATURE EDITION - Intel Core i7 - 7700 HQ - CPU @2.80 GHz - 16 GB - Windows 10 - 64 bits

I really didn't get your explanation. I think it's much simpler now, there's a P/N for the tray to insert the disc. My question is what is that P/N.

I found this https://www3.lenovo.com/us/en/accessories-and-monitors/memory-and-storage/memory/HDD-BO-M-2-SATA-SSD... , can someone tell me if I need another P/N?

I don't get it, it gives you the exact two part numbers you need.
I upgraded my T470 to an NVME, but that takes a different cable and bracket.

Yes that post was for a P51, that the poster realized uses the same parts as the T570. Maybe I am confused that you are trying to replace a different drive in your P51 than that poster is replacing. Certainly on my T470 you can't put an NVME drive in the second slot because they don't come in that size, only the main slot as I have installed. Also those parts are not from Lenovo, and depending on whatever country you are in you get it from a different external supplier, for instance Encompass in the USA. Good luck with that by the way, after waiting 3 months for my parts from Encompass to upgrade to an NVME, someone on Reddit found a kit that someone noticed that you can indeed buy from Lenovo direclty (with the bracket and cable combined) which has a different part number and arrived in a couple weeks, so maybe give Lenovo a call to see if they have a similar kit for your laptop. They don't make this easy. I will let someone else who has a P51 and hs done the conversion clarify; I just happened to come across that thread and thought it was the same exact thing you were looking for.
