[ThinkPad P1] Cannot charge my P1 after replace the motherboard.

2019-04-09, 1:34 AM

I just get my P1 repaired bacause of headphone jack. They replaced my motherboard but now I find I cannot charge the battery. BTW, the engineer came to my home the first time bring a total WRONG MOTHERBOARD, they find the difference after tearing down everything.

So after doing research I know the problem is a power problem (laptop not charging or turning on before doing a bunch of manipulations ).Is there any way I can solve this problem without calling their support team? As I do not want to wait and find another issue happen after they leave...

This is a peer-to-peer forum.  Other posters (like me) are customers like you and generally not Lenovo employees.

Hello and welcome to the Community,

If you are unhappy with the level of service you have received you can request that your case be escalated. To escalate a case you need to call support, for your country and product, and after quoting your previous case number(s) and providing some personal details request the representative to escalate, open a complaint, on your behalf. They can start the process and also explain any further steps in the process.
