Whenever I go into Lenovo Vantage -- System Update, clicking Check for Updates results in the message "The System Update Server is currently unavailable. Please try again later". It's been a few days now, and I can't believe the servers have been down for that long.
I saw in a very old post that this issue has occurred before on other machines:
The solution displayed there does apply to my system, the registry entry they mention does not exist on the P1.
Suggestions much appreciated.

Never mind -- it's hours later now and it works. I guess the system update servers can be down for multiple days after all.
