Hey everyone have not been in hear in awhile been too busy but I wanted to comment for everyone. The p seines upgrade is just that an upgrade so much like the Dell precision series, we will see components upgraded but not necessarily the chassis. I wish and still hope that I can buy a separate motherboard and replace my m5000m with the p5000 because the upgraded power is worth it but I doubt lenovo will make this possible (eben though last year technical support said I could) . But regarding the screens I was a guest at the unveiling a couple months back and the screens are an upgrade, I believe the p71 is an LG for us market and the p51 is a Panasonic. Along wigh 100 % srgb they will have 100% adobe rgb or very close to that. Both current models are around 70 to 75 % adobe and 99.9 % srgb. Everything else from the internals and ports will likely be the same except for the p51s which is remodeled. Honestly I have had p71 with the 1505m and m5000m and could not have been happier. It is always snappy , I can play games at 2to 3 k maxed and rendering/ stability is a breeze. I just wish they would have placed the p3000 on the p51 because they easily could have and reduced a lot of the thickness. That's all I can think of for now , you guys have any other questions let me know. By the way the new xeon processors ,especially the 1535m v6 is frigin insanely fast , on the same realm of a 6500k processor

Sorry for the nomenclature I should not have said unveiling but I was at solidworks 2017 , my company Iprovides high end renderings and CFD computations for prototyping and specialized productions. We are a guest every year . I don't know why they do not have any pictures available like the 7720 but they had a p71 on display and demo with an occlusion set up for architectural and design environments . The display was a noticeable difference. And no I don't have a p71, buy a p70. But that said, the display and upgrade in gpu power is worth the commit. My m5000m would struggle to keep up with the p3000.

Thanks for sharing info, much interesting. Was the P51 also on display? The horrible screen on th P50 is the main reason I returned it, and so a display upgrade should be very interesting.
