Hoping to find a solution to a VERY annoying issue.
When I click the left mouse button UNDER the trackpad, it clicks once when I press it down, and once when I let the button back up. So clicking it once (up and down), effectively double-clicks.
I have tried resetting trackpad to default and downloading latest drivers. Neither has fixed the issue.
I first noticed the problem try to fold and unfold code in Visual Studio. I click the + box and it will expand then immediately collapse again cause it is being clicked again. Same issue with closing tabs in Chrome. I close the far left tab and it closes that tab and the next tab that fills the space. Very annoying.
I otherwise love this machine but this problem is driving me crazy.
Thankful for any help!

An updated version of the Synaptics UltraNav driver which resolves multiple click input in place of a single click when using the left touchpad button on P50 and P70 ThinkPad systems has been released.
- Fixed issue where Thinkpad P50 left click might behave as "double click".
Synaptics UltraNav driver, v220.127.116.11, can be downloaded here: http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/DS119156
