Hello, I am writing to confirm: Has Lenovo already fixed all the black screen problems caused from Bios setting and Intel Management Engine?
My P52 will arrive soon, can I safely update all the recommended updates? Thank you.

There are not any known black screen problems today, and the ME firmware update is also safe.
There is an ongoing ME firmware problem but it only affects some systems where motherboard has been replaced previously. It doesn't affect your new P52.

For sure the issue is not solved.
My Thinkpad P52 is now staying broken.
In Bulgaria it was 3 times in the service center and every time worked no more then several hours. They changed mainboard.
Now I am in Zambia and it is dead again this morning. But here in Zambia no official Lenovo service center. I have to wait until I get back to Bulgaria after 3 months to be replaced.
Never more Lenovo with this crappy service. i understand that every machine can break, but 4 times and without usage is too much. And Zambia is not Antarctida, it was supposed to have service center.
