Using powerbank or random USB-C charger?

I see that the new p53 edition does not come with a hot swappable battery anymore. Is it possible to use a powerbank or any alternative usb-c pd brick to charge the laptop?

Re: Using powerbank or random USB-C charger?

Hello and welcome,

I have no personal experience with that model, but the base spec indicates that the P53 comes with either a 170W or 230W slim tip (rectangular) AC adapter. USB-C is limited to 100W max.  Further, I see no indicaton in the base spec or the UG that the P53 can charge via USB-C in any case.  Slim tip port charging only.
