i had downgrade my w500 from vista to win xp pro using the the recovery disc. when i press stand by, the screen shut off, the but the hard drive is running, which the hard drive inication on the screen is flashing. doesnt anyone know how to solve this.

Hi, I have the same problem now on W500 with Windows 7 64bit.

 

Any one solved this problem? All drivers (including BIOS) are up to date
