I am having problems with Trackpoint and the TouchPad. I had to disable Trackpoint because it was constantly clicking and opening anything it was pointed at.
The TouchPad pointer will not click and open anything, though, oddly enough, it will work if the computer is placed in standby mode for a lengthy period of time.
I have reinstalled the original OS and other software several times now, including reinstalling the latest ultra nav driver and have all the other latest updates (BIOS 1.45). I find it unlikely that this is a Hardware problem, but I have not been able to fix it with the software reinstalls. Could it be the SSD?
Is anyone familiar with these type of anomalies? Any ideas for a fix?
