I was considering purchasing an additional 4GB PC3-10600 DDR3-1333 Low-Halogen SODIMM Memory for my W520.

 

I am currently configured with Intel Core i7-2620 2.70GHz with 4GB RAM installed.

 

Can someone confirm this is possible and give me an idea of how to perform the installation?

I just followed the manual and removed the two screws as it suggests. The keyboard came out with just a slight pressure with my fingers.

I would recommend you should only loosen the remaining screws if at all necessary.
