If you attach the AC adapter when the battery is at 49%, then it will not charge because it is not below 46%. This is the intended behavior.

If the system is charging and discharging between 46% and 50% while plugged in, then this causes extra wear to the battery.

@ColonelONeill: I know because i setup it , but this only "my battery only stand on 49% , no down and no up ." when attach the AC adapter

and "On my last FW it's work , I can see battery up 50% and down 46% , again and again ."

If AC adapter is attached, it should stay at 49% always.

If I understand your situation correctly, then yes. When the AC adapter is attached, it should not run the battery.

If the system does not work on battery only, then there is a different problem.

Go to Lenovo Power Manager, go to the battery tab. At the bottom it should say firmware version. I don't think you can downgrade battery firmware versions.

My W520 is set to start charging below 80% and stop charging at 90%. When plugged in between 80% and 90%, it will stay at the same level. When plugged in below 80% it will charge up to 90% and stop. It does NOT go up and down while the AC adapter is attached.
