I've got a W540 running Windows 7 and when using the trackpoint + touchpad button functionality to click & drag certain windows across the desktop, the window being dragged will jerk right to left (by as much as 2") as I move the trackpoint. The jumping/jerking is severe enough that I had to turn off Aero features like Shake because the jerking would cause all of my other desktop windows to minimize (which is both infuriating and hilarious, if it's not happening to you). I similarly had to turn off the 'ease of access' feature that would automatically maximize/arrange windows when they reach the display edge, because the jerking would cause the moving window to maximize or tile. This is not seen with all apps (notably it happens with jabber & pidgin) and I don't have this problem with the same apps on a W520 running Win7. How can I fix this?
