What is the secret here? I'm a big macro user, and we have a Mickey Mouse calculator key and other neubie keys.
Can we assign new functions to these keys? I need a hot WiFi off key in one stroke, no Yes/No or other options. Just hit that key, and WiFi is off immediately. Can we do this with this Workstation???
Thank you for any words of wisdom.

AFAIK, there is no way to change the actions of the Fn keys, as those are set in the driver, and the hotkey software doesn't have a customize option.
In the old version, the Fn keys just ran an executable, so to change the function, you just place in a different executable. I don't know if they have changed this functionality in the new version, but the .exe files are still here on the hotkey software on my W530.
as for the calculator button, those might be programmable, but it doesn't appear to be so.

This Microsoft utility, DevCon: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/311272
might help you with a way to disable and enable your wireless (or other devices). You could create two, one-line command files and shortcut each to your desktop. A double-click on either should then be the only thing required to disable or enable wifi.
