Thinkpad W541, Wiindows 7 Pro 64-bit, updated Intel USB 3.0 driver to, all USB ports died.

Using Lenovo System update I installed:
Intel USB 3.0 Driver - 7 [32,64]
Thinkpad Power Manager - 7 [32,64] 6.68.15
Intel WLAN Driver for 7260 - 7 [64] 20.70.0

I also uninstalled Avast (don't know who snuck that onto my machine), then re-booted.

After re-boot all of my USB ports are dead.

I tried de-activating and re-activating the USB Root controller with hard re-boots.

I have an 8GB USB stick in a USB 2.0 port and it blinks multiple times during bootup,
but all 2.0 and 3.0 ports are dead after re-boot.

I just tried my docking station, which has a USB keybort and a USB mouse. When I first boot, the keyboard works for input of my power-on password, but dies when Windows starts.
