In Oct, System Update alert new version of BIOS for my machine: GNET80WW (2.28) with some features that I think help improve machine's performance and stable.
OK, let's system update auto download and flash it...DONE, everything work fine.
Today, when view list of driver & software for my machine (I'm making plan clean-install windows 10 on it), The newest verion of bios display 2.27 (what!!!my machine running on 2.28).
Search around google, it show log that Lenovo has W541 Bios version 2.28 and a link about W540 with same version https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-P-and-W-Series-Mobile/New-W540-BIOS-2-28/m-p/3428755#U3428755
I cannot understand with these informations.
I ran 2.27 download from official website. It show that BIOS image does not match with my machine (WHAT???)
Normally, it will show my machine has newer version of bios, but in this case, it does not.
Lenovo, Please explain it for me.

Due to a miscommunication, the latest BIOS for several ThinkPad systems were accidentally removed from support.lenovo.com. Affected systems are: T550/W550s, X140e, T540p, W540/W541, X1 Carbon 2nd Gen. They have since been restored.
Please note that a security vulnerability fix was included in BIOS v2.28 which will prevent customers from rolling back to v2.27.
