Wifi was horrific on old Linksys WRT54. Installed Linksys EA6350 - ever other device works fine

Had an old WRT54G that the P51s would connect, however throughput was horrific.  Installed a EA6350.  An Acer Aspire connect fine.  Two Android phones connect fine. An Andropid tablet connects fine.  Aflipping Kindle Fire connects fine.

My P51s with Windows 10 will not connect.  Says Checking network requirements. then says Can't connect to network.

Bring the P51s to work and it connects fine to the Meraki WiFi network.

I have been through every step in the troubleshooting.  What do i try now?  I am not impressed so far.

Hello,

Try resetting the network interface on the ThinkPad P51s running Windows 10 by searching for "network reset" and running the wizard which restores all network settings to their factory default values after a restart.

The network reset accomplished the mission.  Wonder why Microsoft still leaves so much cruft in the registry?  It is not like it is a new concept for them.  When the OS changes a setting that is stored in the registry you would hope they could find every instance of the setting and update it.  Apparently that is still not the case.

Thanks
