Hi, I'm using the Windows High Definition Audio Driver instead of the Conexant driver, since it gets rid of the frequent audio pops/dropouts. The problem is it is about 6 dB quiter than with the Conexant driver. With both of these drivers, I had been turning off sound enhancements.
The output level is about the same as with the Headphone Limiter turned *on* with the Conexant driver with Smart Audio. Any idea how this level with the Windows driver can be brought up? Is there a hidden limiter somewhere?
