What is color sensor?

And what's the difference between HD and HD+?

The spec sheet I found says it's a Pantone Huey PRO Colorimeter by X-Rite

The screen resolutions are as follows:

 

HD is a 1366x768, 220 nit, 500:1 contrast, 60% gamut

HD+ is a 1600x900, 220 nit, 500:1 contrast, 60% gamut

FHD is a 1920x1080, 280 nit, 500:1 contrast, 95% gamut
