I'll be getting the new Thinkpad P52 mobile workstation soon and wanted to know (as I couldn't find this anywhere and this model is really new) - will it support connection of external GPUs (egpu) through one of it's Thunderbolt 3 ports?
If so, are there any significant performance or heating limitations relating to this sort of usage for example for high-end gaming or 3D modeling applications? (assuming I don't use the internal dedicated Quadro P2000 gpu for this), are there such limitations on the external GPU itself? (type, compatability etc.)

Have you seen this new dock?

Actually I have thanks!
But how do I know that just having a THB3 port (like the P52 has) is enough to work with this? (Or any other eGPU dock+graphics card for that matter)
Are there any compatability issues or limitations on the P52 end or on the eGPU dock\graphics card end?
Is there some pre-configured interface the laptop should have in order to support this prior to actually buying it, besides simply having THB3 ports?
That's what I mean
