Just bought a Lenovo P1 Thinkpad...
Came with Microsoft Office Desptop Apps (MODA) already installed. I have my own version of Office 365 that I installed.
I uninstalled the factory installed MODA and installed my own apps. But suddenly that orginal app is back again.. and I now have 2 copies of a bunch of Office apps in the start Menu (Access, Outlook etc...)
How to I (once and for all) get rid of these factory instlled Office apps?
Also... i've seen some solutions regarding "Powershell".. I'm not really sure what that is... and I dont feel comfortable doing this. Are there other Windows related methods?
I DO have administrator rights on my account.
Thanks in advance,

How did you uninstall the original one?

I used the uninstall feature in “add/remove programs”
is there a better way to do it?
the icons still are there... but are not functional. And in a few minutes, the Microsoft Office Desktop Apps is back

What happens if you right-click on the icons in the Start Menu and select Uninstall from the Start Menui that pops up? Does that solve the issue?

Welcome to the brave new world of wondows 10 persistant applications, I would ,do some web search on regedit settings that get rid of Office 365 and all the other bull**bleep** that is persistantly pushed out of Redmond if you can.

Have you tried opening an elevated PowerShell prompt and issuing a
command? If so, did that have any effect?
