p50s bios update

Decided to do a bios up date on this new thinkpad in an attempt to fix a quarky issues with the display not working after docking and powering on.  For some reason the display only shows up when you boot then dock.  Anyway the bios update seems to have failed or not completed. The system is just beeping at me when pressing the power and will not boot or power down.  Hoping I don't have to send this back for warranty support.  Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions. Bios update was done using the update utility

Re: p50s bios update

Looks like I got lucky. Pulled the power cord and the battery and let it die. Seems there's some internal battery that kept this thing running for a while. When I powered it back up it booted fine. Not sure if the bios update went through or not. Just happy it's working again.

Now I just have to deal with this messed up dock issue. The system works fine on the dock at the office. The home dock has the monitor issue still.
