safe to resize Lenovo recovery partition?

The Lenovo recovery partition on the W520 is roughly 16GB in size, with 9.1GB used and 6.7GB free.  Is it SAFE to resize this partition and reclaim that 6.7GB of free space?  Would it break the rescue and restore process?

Re: safe to resize Lenovo recovery partition?

You can shrink it if you want, even better would be to burn the recovery discs and just remove the recovery partition. You can have Rescue & Recovery make an incremental image of the system once a week or so and just use that if you need to restore. Be sure to keep the recovery media that you create in a safe place should you need to restore the system to factory default.
