I see this is quite a common problem, judging by number of intel support posts, but unfortunately none has a valid solution, mostly they refer to OEM drivers.
So my ethernet controller does not start when I power on my laptop, windows 10 (and windows 7 before) 64-bit device manager shows the 'error 10 the device cannot start' warning. if I disable and re-enable it the adapter works perfectly, same after restart, but whenever I turn the laptop off - the adapter does down.
I tried installing the latest drivers both from intel and lenovo (http://pcsupport.lenovo.com/eg/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-t-series-laptops/thinkpad-t...). Again, intel support refers to OEM drivers.
I appreciate any help.
