w530 keyboard key remove

2013-04-23, 21:30 PM

Hi.

I have a question. Can I safely remove the keys to clean keyboard, cause I spilled out some wine on a keyboard and now few keys are sticking while typing.

Thanks for your advice

Hi mateo_87,

You should be fine. I have done it before on my laptop without any problems. Just be careful when you pop the keys off, and try not to use anything sharp. I would recommed removing the keyboard from the laptop, just to make things easier. If the wine is realy stuck to the keyboard, then you can also try rinsing it under warm running water, and let it dry out.
