I've just checked. It is enabled in the BIOS.

I have the Centrino N-2230 Wireles+Bluetooth adapter. Do you have the same one?

Yep.

But it should show in the device manager. Maybe it got "lost"?

It doesn't appear in the Device Manager. I do have a mysterious "WAN Miniport (Network Monitor) #2" with an exclamation mark saying that "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)", but I've tried updating its driver with different Bluetooth drivers, but with no results.

If it weren't physically there, I hope the BIOS would not allow me to enable the device. I have no way to check myself, AFAIK.

"WAN Miniport" sound to me like... well, WAN. But fi you do have WAN you wouldn't have the mSATA 16GB installed (it uses the same slot). Did you try deleting it from the device manager? Does it appear again?

BIOS will enable Bluetooth no matter you actually don't have it. As well as it will enable WWAN. But the wireless card is the same one for Bluetooth and WiFi, so what I said previously wouldn't apply.

Aaand.. I've ran out of ideas. :S

PD: Yes, you can check it but is under the keyboard (two screws). But if you do have WiFi connectivity, I believe is pointless.

I thought the Device Manager might be mislabelling the device as a WAN Miniport due an incorrect driver. I try uninstalling it, but it keeps coming back.

I guess I'll have to call Lenovo Support, but they'll prolly ask me to send them my computer again, and I need to use it every day at work!

I've kind of hijacked your thread. Sorry! :P
