Re: Switch ThinkPad Yoga Clickpad with new TrackPad

I tried to do as you described, but I cannot find any "LENOVO_GROUP13_InterTouch_Win8_1_Inst" section in the SynPD.inf of the n1cgx11w :(

I found the [LENOVO_GROUP13_InterTouch_Win8_Inst] section only...

Sorry.

It's my mistake. Change [LENOVO_GROUP13_InterTouch_Win8_Inst] section only.

Okay - I see - no problem :)

In this "new" way should I do the following trick after the SynPD.inf modification?

"Restart by command in cmd: shutdown /r /o /f /t 0

Select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart

In restart, select option 7.

Go to the folder to which the driver is extracted.

Run setup.exe."

or I can do the normal installation?

Drivers are signed, so modified drivers cannot be installed in a normal way.

You should follow the way as I wrote.

Instead of entering shutdown command, you can restart by holding shift key down and clicking restart button.

Is there any reason for a preference over either methods? I fully understand the logic of the first method, but not the second AddReg method.

I think that the second method is better because if we know which AddReg makes three buttons work,

we can get the best configuration for our laptop. And we don't have to know the target group.

Hi again,

Unfortunately does not work :(

I've changed the file like this:

[LENOVO_GROUP13_InterTouch_Win8_Inst]
Include=msmouse.inf
FeatureScore = 0xF9
Needs=PS2_Inst
CopyFiles = CopyFiles_Drivers,CopyFiles_System,CopyFiles_ProgFiles,CopyFiles_ProgFilesWow64,CopyFiles_SysWOW64,CopyFiles_Lenovo_Ultranav_Shortcut
AddReg = Common_AddReg, StdUI_AddReg, IBM0057_AddReg, UXUI_AddReg, Group13, SGS_functions, ShowApplicationGestures, Enable2FScrollingAnd2FEdgeMotion_AddReg, StartingZoneAspectRatio, MultiFingerPalmCheck, MultiFingerPalmCheck_UI, Adjust_MultiFingerPalmCheck_UI, MainUIRearrange, ImageClickPadOmniModeStdUI_AddReg, AutoAspectRatio_AddReg, ReOrganizeTreeSequence_For_ClickPad, PalmCheckFilterSettings, AdjustUI_AddReg, Disable_ChiralRotate_AddReg, InterTouch_ClickPad_Settings_AddReg, RMIPassThrough_AddReg, Hide_Win8_ScrollingMagnifyingGlass, StickButtonsOnTP_AddReg, Adjust2F_and_1F_MomentumValue_AddReg, ClickSmart_AddReg, SkipClickWhenGestureProcess_AddReg, DisableOneFingerScroll_WithEdgeMotionAndChiral_AddReg, Hide_MultiFingerPalmCheck_CheckBox_AddReg, UseSensorCoord_AdjustZoneSizes_2_Addreg, Hide2FingerDoubleTapUI_AddReg, DisableEnableDeviceByLidCloseOpen_AddReg, SetSlaveButtonZoneSizes_2_AddReg, ActivateDisableDeviceViaGpio_AddReg, EdgeMotion_Adjust_Speed_Only_Help_Text, LENOVO_UXUIControls_AddReg, ACM2_Parameter_Adjust_AddReg, EnableGroupFilter_AddReg, TurnOnEdgeTapFilter_AddReg, TurnOffGestureFilter_AddReg, Disable_Edge_Pull_AddReg, Disable_Rotate_UXUI_AddReg, Disable_3FVHScrolling_UXUI_AddReg, Disable_4FVHScrolling_UXUI_AddReg, AdjustStickMethodAndSpeedFactor_AddReg,
Set_3P2BCP_Feature_AddReg
DelReg = Common_DelReg, IBM0057_DelReg

Have you any idea how can it works?

You entered a new line character between AdjustStickMethodAndSpeedFactor_AddReg and Set_3P2BCP_Feature_AddReg. They should be in one line.
