Does ThinkPad yoga 370 still have the jumping cursor issue?

2017-08-24, 11:16 AM

Thinking about getting the Thinkpad Yoga 370, but does the the jumping cursor issue that plagued the Yoga 460 still exist on the 370?

If you don't know what i'm talking about, it is this issue.

It's been a while since this question was posted, but since I had the same one when I purchased my 370 I figure it doesn't hurt to answer.  Indeed, the jumping cursor problem was the main reason I finally decided to get away from my 1st-gen Yoga S1.  I can happily say that the 370 does not have a jumping cursor problem (at least not yet... it got worse over time in my S1, so we'll see how it goes).

No jumping here, the mouse cursor is solid whether using bluetooth, usb or an RF connected mouse or the trackpoint mouse (what I use in meetings).  I have seen Thinkpads that would have the mouse cursor 'coast' off the side of the screen but never on my Yoga 370.  It's a great little machine, very durable to carry around to meetings and then to cart home on the train tethered to my cell phone for listening to Audible, reading Wiki, whatever.  I'd buy another one in a hot minute.
