So, I tried to perform a "battery reset" from lenovo vantage on my Thinkpad Yoga 460.
After approx 1 min, the process fails on the first step with an "unsuspected error"
And now my battery stays at 4% when plugged in, not charging.
Same error if I repeat the process.
Lenovo vantage says my battery is in good condition.
There are no additional drivers or bios updates for me to download according to Vantage (i.e. I have latest versions of everything)
Did vantage just destroy my battery?

Welcome to the community forums.
Could you try to perform a Power Drain on the laptop and check if the issue remains? You can follow the steps below.
1. Shut down the laptop
2. Unplug the charger
3. If the battery is removable, remove the battery. If not, proceed with the next step.
4. Press and hold the Power Button for 10-15 seconds.
5. Reconnect the charger and restart the laptop.
Let us know how it goes.
