I have not had any luck with Lenovo or Verizon so far in trying to get broadband set up. I also can't seem to find any directions online (or anywhere else for that matter) explaining what I need to do (if anything) to set up broadband.. other than showing up at the Verizon store.
I am trying to get my Mobile Broadband configured for work and for some reason nobody is sure what the problem is. So I have a simple question (with hopefully an easy answer)...
Has anyone connected their Thinkpad X1 Yoga to Verizon wireless Broadband?
If so, can you please tell me the steps you went through to do so?
Thanks for your help!

The network type of my machine is GSM. Verizon says they need CDMA.
Any idea how to fix this and/or if it can be fixed? Any input is greatly appreciated.

I have recently been told by Verizon that the X1-Yoga cannot operate on their network. They said that it has to do with a e911 block on the hardware. I then tried AT&T and it too will not activate the device with either pre-pay or contract service. For good measure, I tried a TMobile SIM as well, and although the Yoga sees the network, it will not connect.
From what I can tell right now, the WWAN feature of this device has been rendered useless due to network incompatibility. RATS!
