Is (4XB0L67026) ThinkPad 512 GB SATA 2.5" SSD compatible with Lenovo Yoga 260 Model 20FES04T37

Dears,

I would like to upgrade my current 256GB SSD of my Thinkpad Yoga 260 Model 20FES04T37 with 512GB SSD.

I have found the below partnumber in Lenovo store which says that is compatible with Thinkpad, but I see that a special factor (M.2) is required for Yoga 260 which is not listed in the description of this part number:

4XB0L67026 ThinkPad 512 GB SATA 2.5" SSD

Can anybody confirm this will be compatible with my Yoga so that I proceed with the upgrade with this SSD?

Hi aderlopas

  • 00JT051            512G,M.2,2280,PCIe3x4,TOS,STD

Re: Is (4XB0L67026) ThinkPad 512 GB SATA 2.5" SSD compatible with Lenovo Yoga 260 Model 20FES04

My Thinkpad Yoga 260 has a connector with b&m keys.

  1. Will a NVMe SSD work with this machine?
  2. I understand the BIOS has to support this in order to boot: how do I determine whether the BIOS will support it?
  3. The NVMe SSD has an M key: will this fit into the connector?

Hello and welcome, SteveMcC

TP Yoga 260' SSD m.2 connector must have an M key, disregarding the SSD type (sata III or PCIe 3x4) installed.

My Yoga 260 is equipped by Samsung SSD sata pm871, the photo of the systemboard is below:

There is the only one M key.

x220 • Gobi 2000 3g | hdd, msata ssd, Option 3g, wifi, gps -- unique hand-made config
ThinkPad 25 Anniversary Edition. Special. Signed by D.Hill. #Retro
T470p | X1 Carbon Gen3 • WQHD | Miix 2 10" | Yoga Tablet 2-1050F (Android) + BT Keyboard
ThinkPad Stack • 2.4/5 Wireless Router, HDD 1 TB, BT Speaker, Power Bank, Mobile Projector

Do it well, worse becomes itself

1. Is NVMe supported? This is a fairly new and there is some talk that the machine's BIOS has to support it.
2. How can I can an ISO image of what came with the Lenovo 260?
