Anyone having a battery problem where it charges up to a certain percentage then stops charging?
My battery will not charge past 50%! When leaves me with less than 2 hours of battery life.

Are you referring to the Lenovo Settings App? The App only came with machines that came preinstalled with Windows 8 OEM, this app can be accessed in the metro area or by pressing FN + F6. Has it been uninstalled, etc?

I still have that app. After some system upgrade (dependency package?) Lenovo Setting App is still here, but no longer I have the "battery" option where I can set my laptop to run at full performance or to extent the life of the battery.

When you open Lenovo Settings, do you see an option for "Power"? After clicking that option, I found the "Battery Health Mode" at the very end by scrolling to the right. Check to see what version of the Lenovo Settings Depency Package you have, it should be 126.96.36.199.
From what I can tell, this is the other place to change this setting currently.

I see the "Power" option. After clicking on that option, it asks me to download an install a driver (setting dependency). I did what was asked. From then on, I haven't been able do anything with the power option.
Now it's just an endless cycle of asking me to install the new driver, restart, and ask me to install again.

Thanks for following back up with me regizdo. If you will, back up your machine. From here try uninstalling the Setting Dependency Driver, then download it from the Lenovo Settings Depency Package page and save it to your desktop. Then manual install and restart. See if that helps provide some relief to the loop.

Tout1108G's first comments (2nd on the thread after my original message) is the solution to the problem. Reinstalling the drivers worked perfectly. My computer battery has reached 100% from 50% and just recently I have brought the battery to 0% to charge.
Thank you all for your comments!

does Lenovo has any plans to release the "Lenovo Settings" Metro app? If you reinstalled windows 8, there is no way to get it, and Lenovo Settings Dependency Package looks useless.
