Lenovo Yoga 370 touchpad and trackpoint disabled?

2017-10-06, 9:06 AM

After switching to tablet mode in Windows 10, the touchpad and trackpoint are both disabled. I tried disabling and re-enabling it in the BIOS, no effect. Tried updating to the latest ELAN driver, no luck... in fact, there's no option for enabling / disabling the touchpad in the dialog box, and the ELAN dialog box is just a big blank. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling all Lenovo drivers; no luck.

I saw some suggestions that I should disable some sort of Intel sensors in the BIOS, but I couldn't find those settings.

Suggestions?

I have the same problem, although I never switched to tablet mode. Also mine is a Yoga 380. I just did a clean install of Windows 10 Pro and went and downloaded all the latest drivers from Lenovo, but I get the same exact result as the original poster. I've tried everything now, but it just won't work. Any ideas?

I have exactly the same problem. But I did not get to switching to tablet mode....the track point and touch pad were not working since day 1. Mine is a brand new thinkpad yoga 370 laptop...just got delivered two days ago. Updated all lenovo drivers and windows updates, still does not work. The screen shots that you showed and exactly what I see on my laptop.

I raised a case with lenovo support and they were not able to solve the issue after spending a couple of hours on the phone trying various options. Now, I've requested a replacement laptop as mine is under warranty. Hope that one is good. I'll post after I get the replacement.
