Night Light is completely disabled after Windows's "The May 2019" Update!

2019-09-05, 14:23 PM

After the may 2019 update, I just could not use Night Light anymore.

I can't even access "System" under "Settings" as it crashes as soon as I open it.

I know this is a common issue after the update was released but it seems that now most users had their issue fixed yet I didn't.

Moreover, I read a suggestion that sometimes updating Intel Graphics Driver solves the issue, Except Lenovo hasn't realeased an updated driver yet.

I literally tried every solution I found on the Internet yet nothing is fixed, and Windows released around 4 coluative updates since The May 2019 update but nothing fixed the issue.

So is this common? should I wait for further updates?

or is there a solution that really fixes the Issue?

Thx.

Hello and thanks for your reply,

I tried installing the update but windows said "update is not applicable for your device".

My current windows version is  10.0.18363 Build 18363 and I run Windows 10 Pro.

Note that I could only run "Eye Care" through Lenovo Vantage. But "System" tab still crashes every single time I try opening it. and therefore all what is under its commands isn't working including Night Light.

I thought of installing Windows ISO file but I thought it's too much work to handle plus I do not guarantee the issue will be fixed. I'm open for any suggestion you provide tho, including remotely applying to fix my PC if it is needed.

Thank you.
