I'm experiencing a problem with the HDMI sound output when connecting my ThinkPad Edge E531 to my TV through my OneLink Dock.
The HDMI connection is established and video works just fine. However I cannot get any sound to the TV's speakers (I use external speakers but already disconnected those for testing - no difference).
When I connect the HDMI cable directly to the ThinkPad, video and audio work perfectly. A previously used setup with an LG monitor that has an HDMI input and speaker output works fine as well.
Active audio devices:
TV connected to OneLink Dock:
SAMSUNG (High Definition Audio Device)
TV connected to ThinkPad:
Digital Audio (HDMI) (High Definition Audio Device)
Windows 8.1 x64
Intel HD 4000 graphics driver 10.18.10.3412
nVidia GeForce GT740M graphics driver 188.8.131.5262
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I installed the OneLink Dock driver as well but it didn't affect my problem. I still don't get any sound through the dock's HDMI port.

I have same problem.
I installed the driver, but audio device is not connected.
I can use audio device, if the HDMI cable connect directly to the body.
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit (Japanese)

Try to install the latest Intel graphics drivers from the Lenovo support site relevant to your computer. When asked let it to overwrite the automatically detected (usually newer) drivers. It worked for me. (on Thinkpad Yoga)
