Repair or Replace? Yoga 14 Type 20FY ThinkPad

So my co-worked managed to knock my laptop off my desk and it was damaged, ugh...

It still functions, but has the following issues:
- There's a noticable blemish on the LCD screen and it will need to be replaced

- The case is cracked on the right side around a USB port

- The case is cracked on the left side around the power connector, and the connector itself is bent

Looks like the screen alone runs $400 on Lenovo parts site, and I don't even see case parts listed. I'd prefer to replace the parts myself, but would also be willing to go to a reapair center if I had to.

I'm leaning towards replacement instead of repair, but was wondering what others more experienced in laptop repairs thought.

Re: Repair or Replace? Yoga 14 Type 20FY ThinkPad

I fix machines, so my first impression is always to fix, but you have at least 3 damaged parts (jack, panel and case).  If the jack is damaged, there may be an issue with nearby parts.  I cannot be  sure without seeing it, but my guess is that you would be better off selling the broken one on eBay and buying a different one.
