Question

I'm trying to find a way/hotkey to turn off the built-in display whilst I'm connected to another external monitor with the Thinkpad S1 Yoga model. Do you guys know how to do it?

Answer

For newer keyboard design, you can use Windows key+P keys as shortcut key to switch the displays, please check with below link for further assistance on that.

In Win 7:

I think the F8 key is supposed to accomplish the screen switch. Note: FnLck has to be Off, no little red light. (It took me a while to figure out that FnLck reverts the Fkeys from there Lenovo function to the functions assigned to whatever app one is using.)
