I have a customer with a Thinkpad S1 Yoga (MTM 20CD00BXUS) that required the hard drive be replaced. After replacing the hard drive, and installing Windows 10 I had no issues for a few days. Once I re-installed the lower cover of the laptop, it would not boot to Windows and just displayed a black screen. I removed the bottom cover, removed the HDD, and re-installed and it works fine unti the lower cover is again screwed in.
Is the lower cover actually causing this to happen, or is there something else I am missing? Any help and suggestions are welcomed.

Hi @Dan164 !
Welcome to the Community,
Sorry for the delayed response. We're thinking that there might be something that disconnects or moved the HDD from the inside, and it loose connection when the lower cover is seated. It could be the port where it is connected. The HDD on this model has HDD bracket, which has screws for tight connection. Could you check if those screws are firmly screwed in? Observe afterwards. Update us with the result.
