I have a ThinkPad S3 Yoga 14 20DM003RGE and I suspect that a switch or sensor is defective. In the BIOS the keyboard works without problems and when installing Windows the touchpad also works.
After installing Windows 10, neither the keyboard nor the touchpad works in Windows itself.
The switch or sensor that deactivates the keyboard in tablet mode is obviously defective.
Now I'd like to know how to disable this switch in Windows so that the keyboard and touchpad work again. In other words, the keyboard should be enabled in notebook mode and in tablet mode. Does anyone know which registry entry disables the keyboard and touchpad in tablet mode? Or how can I reactivate these components?
I'd also like to know exactly where this switch is so I can replace it later.
