Question

I got a new ThinkPad Twist a couple of days ago, and I have found an odd problem . When in tablet mode, the mouse pointer will come up and start moving around the screen.

I'm assuming the keyboard/mouse is not disabled in tablet mode and the back of my screen is causing the movement when I am using it in tablet mode.

Is there a setting to disable the keyboard/mouse intablet mode or am I the only one having this problem?

Answer

When ThinkPad Twist (ThinkPad S230u) users operate the system under Tablet mode, the cursor may drift or skip.

It is found that new BIOS and the UltraNav driver are both required to resolve this issue.

Please click on the link below to dowload the drivers .

BIOS version 1.55 and above should fix this.

TouchPad or UltraNav driver  version 16.2.19.8 and above should fix this.

This can also be confirmed from the the Hint & tips Page below.
