I have a ThinkPad Yoga 14, which has a keyboard backlight that can be turned on and off by pressing Fn+Space. Recently I've found that if I turn it off, it sometimes stays on. In this state it will flicker when the computer is tapped or bumped, or just moved around, and when placed at certain angles it will stay off.
If I turn it on, it stays on consistently — it's only when it's set to off that it doesn't work right.
It seems like there must be a loose connection in there or something. Does this sound like something that can be easily fixed?

I have something in mind just to discard some hardware issue.
Can you make a full shut down of the computer... full shutdown?. Turn it on and access the BIOS before Windows loads.
On the BIOS try turning the keyboard on and off to see how it behaves.
If it is behaves fine, it may me some strange driver on Windows or configuration there. If it behaves wrong maybe it is hardware.
It is just an idea.
