ThinkPad Yoga 460 and OneLink Plus Dock Ethernet port problem

My Onelink Plus dock behaves very strangely, I cannot use the Ethernet port reliably:

I bought recently a Thinkpad Yoga 460 – after my previous Thinkpad – and an Onelink plus dock.

 

  • After docking I have to disconnect and reconnect all cables from/to the dock to make the Ethernet work.
  • After that it works great for a period, but sometimes it loses the connection. I have to unplug again all the cables and reconnect them to make it work.

 

To the dock I attached the following: USB keyboard, mouse, external drive, DisplayPort cable (with DP to DVI adapter) and the Ethernet cable.

 

I am using Windows 10 Pro 64 bit (ver. 1607) from a clean install. Every device in the Device Manager seems to be OK, even the ThinkPad OneLink Plus Dock Ethernet.

I have the latest software and firmware.

  • Lenovo Companion cannot find new updates
  • I have updated the BIOS to ver 1.46.
  • I have also updated the Onelink plus dock firmware (Version: 2.33.000).

 

Any idea? This way the dock is useless.
