ThinkPad Yoga: Pen will not write easily anymore.

2014-12-13, 23:33 PM

Hello everyone,

I used to have the issue with the oversensitive pen writing even when the tip was hovering above the screen, but I fixed that with the "feel" setting. Now, my pen will not write, even on the softest feel setting. I will clarify.

When the pen is close to the screen, the digitizer detects it, shows the pointer, and follows the pen's movement. I can even click the button on the pen and the right click circle appears. But when it comes to writing, clicking, or interacting with the screen in any way, it now requires an unreasonably large amount of force for anything to register.

I have been trying to remove the pen tip to see if it is damaged, but as far as I can tell, this is not possible. I will try to see if another Wacom pen works as soon as I can, but in the mean time, is there anything I can possibly try on the software end of things?
