Re: Tap-to-Click will not stay disabled.

Could you please post the model or P/N of your laptop, the BIOS version, and the version of UltraNav you are running?

Thank you,

Re: Tap-to-Click will not stay disabled.

I am having the exact same problem here as well. When I manually disable "Tap to Click" in the Synaptics Control Panel of the TouchPad, it automattically reenables it after I return from sleepmode and login again.

I have a  ThinkPad S1 Yoga  system model 20CDS02B00

UltraNav version     18.0.7.34

BIOS version     2.7

Please Help! Thanks! I am very anxious to resolve this!

Re: ThinkPad Yoga Series Tap To Click

I was able to reproduce the Tap To Click feature reenabling across several different ThinkPad Yoga models. Updating to the most recent Synaptics driver resolved the problem.

Yoga S1

v18.0.7.103 released 4/3/15

Re: ThinkPad Yoga Series Tap To Click

I am still having this issue with the latest driver (18.0.7.103) on my ThinkPad Yoga S1. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver with a reboot between each step.

Should I try the 18.1.27.20 driver as it is a later version than the latest for my model?

This is extremely frustrating as the tap-to-click is pointless when you can click anywhere on the trackpad just by pressing down on it.

EDIT to add:

BIOS Version/Date LENOVO GQET44WW (1.24 ), 3/20/2015
System Model 20CDS02B00
System SKU LENOVO_MT_20CD_BU_Think_FM_ThinkPad S1 Yoga

Re: ThinkPad Yoga Series Tap To Click

It used to be you could set "tapping" in Windows 8 but I can no longer find the settings in 8.1. I wonder if there's some remnant in the Win8.1 code that keeps resetting the tapping switch.

BTW, I loaded the latest drivers (18.0.7.103) and had the same result, the tap-to-click keeps on coming back on. My system info is identical...

Re: ThinkPad Yoga Series Tap To Click

I am sorry, but this issue has not been resolved. I have the latest Synaptics driver, like Any_Lenovo linked to (version 18.0.7.103), but the tap to click is still re-enabling itself after the computer awakes from sleep mode. So the little green check mark next to Amy_Lenovo's post is wrong.

Re: ThinkPad Yoga Series Tap To Click

How do I remove the green check mark from this thread? Because this issue has not been solved.
