2019-11-03, 16:58 PM

Hi,

I wonder if you can please help or point me in the right direction.

Would you please kindly advise on the maximum size 2.5" 7mm SSD, which can be installed in the Thinkpad S1 Yoga Type 20C0 and the respective hardware installation guide?

Many thanks in advance, for all your support.

With kind regards.

Hi nsharma!

Thanks for posting in the Community,

Similar to the HDD, the SSD that can be installed in the Thinkpad Yoga S1 is a 2.5" 7mm one,

For instructions on how to install the upgraded SSD, you can check the manual below,

Hi Hector,

Thank you for the prompt reply.

Can you use a SSD 1TB from an alternative manufacturer, eg. Samsung, instead of the ones shown on the system service parts spreadsheet?

Many thanks in advance, for all your help.

With kind regards.
