As the title says.
Last weekend, I completely reset my computer to factory settings and updated every driver possible. Went through all the power settings that I know of, but nothing works. The laptop is set to sleep when closing the lid.
Opening it up again, the screen stays black. The green button for the Fn key stays lit and the red light pulsates. I can't wake it up and I have to shut it down by holding down the power button.

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums.
Kindly update the BIOS version of the machine and download it from our support website.
If still the same, try the steps below and observe if you'll see any changes.

Thank you for your reply.
I've checked the software page, but there's no update for the BIOS:
Furthermore, when I go into the Device Manager, the keyboard properties does not show a tab with "Power Management". The mice does, and that box is checked. So, I tried to enable waking up by keyboard through the command prompt as admin and entered the following: powercfg -deviceenablewake "Standard PS/2 Keyboard". However, this returned "You do not have permission to enable or disable device wake.". Which is strange, considering it's my personal computer and I am an admin.

Maybe you can used the Windows Media Creation Tool to get a fresh ISO of the current Windows build and performed an update installation with keeping your apps and data or try to update the graphics driver.

Have you solved the problem?
You can try to uninstall your Synaptics UltraNav Driver Then download the latest driver installation from the Lenovo website.
