My ThinkPad yoga 12 turned off suddenly, and now it doesn't turn back on. Despite being plugged in the led doesn't light up to show that it's charging, but does flash 3 times occasionally after being plugged in. It's almost certainly not a dead battery.W I hold down the power button for more than a few seconds and release the power button the LED lights up for 3 or so seconds and then turns off, but no other response from the computer. I've disconnected and reconnected the battery and the hard drive with no luck.
The other thread in this forum with this problem just says that they returned their computer for a warranty repair and it was marked as solved, not very helpful.

When did the issue start? Did you notice any system updates prior to the issue?
The Power On Self Test (POST) is a set of procedures that a computer runs through each time it is turned on. It ensures that all of the system's hardware is working properly before trying to load the operating system. If the computer does not pass POST, it will not boot.
Try to press the Emergency reset hole and observe if the machine will boot up to Windows.
