I know in the IdeaPad Yoga models of the past it was possible to disable throttling in tablet mode by disabling DPTF in the BIOS. I've looked at my Thinkpad Yoga now, and there's nothing like DPTF in the BIOS or among the drivers that I can find.
Problem is the tablet slows down a LOT when in tablet mode. All the applications take forever to open. Everything is slow. It's not right with a laptop that has an i5 5300U in it and behaves like an old tablet with an ARM processor Any way to disable this throttling or at least lessen it?
For reference, I'm still using Windows 8.1 on it.
